Hunter Gatherer Fine Foods is a culmination of passion for culinary excellence and commitment to sustainability. We value local partnerships and seasonal ingredients to create memorable dining experiences that reflect our dedication to fine culinary arts. Chef Alec Spencer has been in the restaurant business for over 15 years. He started his career obtaining a degree from a Le Cordon Bleu school in New Hampshire where he graduated with honors. He has since honed his craft in restaurants across the country in places such as Phoenix, Martha's Vineyard, and Portland, ME, before returning home to Nebraska to help open The Prairie Club in Valentine. Since then, he has run kitchens in restaurants all around North Platte and the Ogallala area, helping to grow and develop his unique style with a focus on high quality, fresh ingredients. This venture has been a three year project that is finally culminating and we are so very excited to share our experiences and love for our local community with you all!
